Wind Turbine Pole - Octagonal + Hinged

    Our galvanized steel Wind Turbine Poles are especially designed for use with our 2KW, 3KW, 5KW and 10kw Wind Turbines but they can also be used with our smaller Wind Turbines.

The walls of this pole are 6mm thick and galvanished inside and out, the pole top has a welded flange which corresponds to the flange on the your chosen Wind Turbine, each of our wind turbines needs a different sized steel flange.

The base of the pole sits on a 700mm square base which has a strong hinge for ease of putting up , now you can raise or lower your 12m Wind Turbine pole with a car, jeep or tractor.

You will need 40 meters of steel reinforced concrete as a base ( 3  X 4 X 4m ) and in extreme wind locations we recommend you use resistors ( or a brake switch )  to slow down or a Stop Switch to bring your Wind Turbine to a complete stop as an out of control wind turbine has the ability to collapse any and all Wind turbine poles.
